SAMSUNG TO DELAY TO RELEASE OF THE GALAXY FOLD
Just weeks after the announcement of the Samsung Galaxy Fold, the tech giant has decided to delay the full release. This is due to the early reviews of the Fold revealing screen breakages. Samsung have taken the decision to postpone to work on the reliability of the screen and will replace all damaged handsets thus far.
BBM WILL CLOSE IT’S SERVICE TO CONSUMER FROM MAY 31ST
Blackberry has announced that it’s messenger service known as BBM will close down after 14 years. First introduced in 2005, the service was widely used in the late 2000’s, but has since decreased in popularity as apps such as Whatsapp and Facebook Messenger have taken over.
PM SIGNS OFF HUAWEI 5G INFRASTRUCTURE DESPITE CONCERNS
Theresa May has authorised Chinese telecommunications company to take part in the build of the UK’s 5G infrastructure despite security concerns. The company has been under criticism from UK MP’s for it’s alleged ties with the Chinese government. Many MP’s think their involvement would lead to a security threat in the UK.

Silent Solution – Calling 999 when in you’re in danger
You may have seen in the news this morning that the Independent Office for Police Conduct is launching a campaign around the emergency service called Silent Solution.
The service itself has been in place since 2002 and the campaign ‘Make Yourself Heard’ aims to raise awareness to citizens about how to use it.
Silent Solution is a system used by police call handlers to record and monitor situations whereby they cannot correspond with the caller, due to the assumption of the caller being in danger and unable to speak.

Facebook bans personality quizzes amid Cambride Analytica scandal
One year on from the scandal that data firm Cambridge Analytica found itself in, Facebook have banned all personality quizzes. The scandal involved the gathering of data from 87 million people that took quizzes on the site.
