CARE HOME BUILDS SALON FOR RESIDENT WHO MISSES TRIPS TO THE HAIRDRESSERS
Staff at Bernadette House in South Park, Lincoln, took the opportunity upon refurbishment of their organisation to build a salon within the home. They did it as a gesture for one of their long-term residents, who missed her regular trips to the hairdressers! Read more in carehome.co.uk’s article:
KATIE PRICE BACKED BY MP’S FOR DISABILITY HATE CRIME LAW
Ms. Price’s petition has reached over 220,000 signatures, focusing on making online abuse a criminal offence. People with disabilities have since weighed in on the topic, sharing accounts of the abuse they face online and how it has effected their mental health.

Music and Dementia
The link between music and dementia care has been widely discussed for a number of years. Music seems to connect with dementia patients in a way that other forms of communication cannot.
